Located on the third floor of Clark Academy, Success Academy is a specially designed program that provides explicit direct instruction to students on the Autism Spectrum, as well as students with complex, fragile and emotional needs.  Our dynamic teachers address various learning modalities of students and combine strategies focusing on literacy as well as daily living skills. The curriculum is aligned with the New York State standards, while also being driven by students' IEP goals.

Success Academy also offers a therapeutic environment with elements from the practices and principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).  These skills along with a designated calm area (our serenity room) allow students who may be dysregulated to return to baseline before continuing about their daily schedule.

Last, but certainly not least, Success Academy has an outstanding clinical team that provides services to students that include group and individual sessions to provide the opportunity for students to learn and utilize coping strategies to enhance their ability to communicate their thoughts and feelings.
